What started as a completely hands-on operation back in 1881 has developed into one of the most elaborate watch-making companies in the world known as Movado. Launched by a young watchmaker named Achille Ditesheim and six other employees, Movado quickly became one of the most notable Swiss-based watch companies, receiving hundreds of awards for excellence in artistry and time-keeping technology.
